Home is wherever I'm with you

There are many advantages to being part of the building process of your own house, as my parents have been. For one, you get to customize a lot, choosing how you want everything to look and be. Second, you get to watch your house being built, to see it rise from the ground, bit by bit. One of the downsides, however, is that when you move in, you're still living on a construction site.

But I think, with time, this construction site can become home. It's a lovely house, and I am already very comfortable in it. Besides, home is where the heart is, as clichéd as that sounds. Or where the suitcase is, a my mother always says.
