Monopoly Pub Crawl

Yesterday I went out with a bunch of Aussies and we tried our hand at the infamous Monopoly Pub Crawl.

For those of you who can't be arsed to check the page, the concept is as follows: you go to a pub in every street of the Monopoly board. That's 26 pubs. Technically you're supposed to drink in all of them, though that is not necessary. But yeah, we started out at 10.30 in the morning with the first pub. There's a rather tight schedule to make sure you have time for all the pubs and the travelling inbetween (we tried to do them by the board, not geographically), and by the second pub we were already late. By noon we were about an hour behind schedule, and it only escalated from there. Suffice to say, we didn't exactly finish the round. By half eight in the evening and our tenth or eleventh pub, by my estimations, we were so tired that half the group went home, and the rest of us followed after some restorative junk-food at Waterloo.

All in all, we were probably one of the worst groups to ever try this, coming no where near our goal, but it was fun and I got to see areas of London I wouldn't have seen otherwise, which was part of the point, so yeah. All's good.
